Terms & Conditions and Your Consent
Your Physiotherapist
- Qualified Care: By booking online, you’re choosing a professional who’s fully trained in physiotherapy.
- Open Communication: If you have questions during your appointment or need to pause treatment, feel free to speak up. Your comfort and understanding are crucial.
Health Information
- Comprehensive History: To provide the best care, I’ll need details about your past and current health, including any medical conditions, treatments, medications, and overall health status.
Examination Process
- Assessment Needs: To accurately diagnose and treat you, it might be necessary to examine the affected area and possibly related areas, which could require you to undress to your underwear.
- Movement Analysis: Simple movements or tests may be conducted to gauge your physical condition and tailor the treatment effectively.
Diagnosis and Treatment
- Collaborative Discussion: After evaluation, we’ll discuss the diagnosis and treatment plan. If physiotherapy isn’t suited to your needs, I’ll explain why.
- Post-Treatment Advice: It’s normal to feel some discomfort for about a day after treatment. If concerns arise, you’re welcome to contact the office during working hours.
- Healing Process: Recovery and improvement often necessitate multiple sessions, and this gradual process is entirely normal.
Bookings, Modifications, and Missed Appointments
Booking Online
- Agreement: Confirming your appointment online signifies your acceptance of these terms and the treatment approach.
Cancellations and Charges
- Late Cancellations: If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, it incurs the full session fee. This applies to all bookings, including those made over the phone or in person. Please provide sufficient notice to avoid a late cancellation fee.
- Non-Refundable Charges: Charges for online bookings are final and cannot be refunded. For other bookings, payment is due at the time of service. You can reschedule at no extra cost if done more than 48 hours in advance.
- Prepaid Treatment Packages: All prepaid treatment packages are non-refundable* and must be used within six months of the purchase date. Treatments are non-transferable.
- No-Shows: Missing your appointment without notice results in a non-refundable charge. While I rarely enforce this, it’s important to be aware for fairness to all patients.
- Rescheduling: Appointments can be rescheduled up to two times. Further reschedule requests cannot be accommodated, and fees are non-refundable. Your understanding is appreciated.

*We reserve the right to discontinue treatments and issue a refund only in cases with a valid medical reason.
